Just came back from a one-day stay at the studio69. The hotel is very unusual compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Poland. It is very designed with special made furniture and room finishing. Very contemporary and scandinavian style. It is situated right at a lake and our room had a splendid view over it. If the weather is warm you can use the sunbeds in the garden and hang out on the room terrace, but there seemed to be nothing else to do in the tiny "town" where the hotel is. The rooms were not big (we stayed in an apartment), but because of the simple layout they had a nice and spacey atmosphere. The concrete floor a bit cold - especially for kids. Biggest minus about the room was that we could hear the neighbours talking or their music playing - not loud, but clearly! Would not like to stay in a room without lake-view, since there is nothing interesting to view on the other side of the hotel. It is a cool hotel rather than a comfy.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and this was disappointing. Pricelevel close to Warsaw-level and the food looked nice, but was not very interesting or tasteful. Breakfast was ok, though the bread was a bit dry. There were only 2 people managing the desk and restaturant and they got a bit stressed when all people from about 9 rooms where there and we had to wait a while. There was only 1 high chair for kids. In general the staff were friendly but very unprofessional!!!! It took 20 min. just to get the bill when we left. 1 person spoke english, but not very well. We communicated in german about the booking.
This is why we have not rated it higher. Compared to Poland hotels it was good, but compared internationally it was medium.
They were making more rooms and there seemed to be opening an indoor pool. This would be great in the cold season. We visited Olcztyn, the outdoor museum "SKANSEN" and the battlefield of Grunwald and enjoyed the views of the lake and autumn leaves. We had a good time and might come back here another time.
