“Quiet guesthouse with nice garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2010

We have stayed in Atalia 3 nights in August and really enjoyed it. I have travelled with husband, my son (4 months old) and 2 friends. Family running this guesthouse is really friendly, there is baby crib available for free. Rooms are tiny but clean, there is a kitchen, freezers available and you can use nice living room with large sofa and fireplace. Possible to organize BBQ outside in nice garden. Large parking for free.

“A lovely stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2009

A good location - just round the corner from the minibuses/buses for Lebork & close to the road out to the Slowinski National Park. It is a little bit away from the beach - about a 20 minute stroll - but we regarded this as an advantage as it was lovely & quiet. We reckoned the area around the centre of town could get quite noisy - discos etc. Ewa (who spoke English) & her husband were delightful. They were very attentive & helpful and created a nice atmosphere. You will be treated well if you come here The breakfast, which was extra (15 zl each), was good. If you prefer to self-cater there are kitchen facilities. The property provides . The room was a little small but perfectly adequate.

The Catholic church is close by which I mention because, although it's modern, it's worth a look for the outdoor chapel which was really peaceful and a couple of simple but interesting sculptures in the garden - also a Max Pechstein picture (interesting not stunning) and a copy of a sculpture of a cod gifted to the last Pope.

Dislikes(very minor) - no soap in bathroom & plug missing & no blind over the skylight over the bed(easily rectified by a towel) - but another place we stayed also had this so it may be because people get up earlier.

“Good value family run guesthouse in Leba”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 May 2008

We stayed at Atalia for 2 nights using Leba as a base to visit Slowinski National Park. It is a simple family run guesthouse and quite good value (we paid around 270 zloty for 2 nights including breakfast and taxes). The location is convenient if you don't have a car as it is very close to the bus and minibus stop and also to the main street of the village. The woman who runs it is friendly and speaks some English and German. The buffet breakfast was good with a range of options to suit different nationalities. The room itself was comfortable with a small ensuite bathroom and good bed (though 2 singles stuck together). Overall I'd recommend Atalia as a nice place to stay in Leba.

“Pleasant place to stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2007

We stayed 2 nights in this pleasant family run hotel. In fact it's less of a hotel and more like a british guest house. There are none of the normal hotel facilities. There is a kitchen and living space where you can prepare and eat food. Our room was very nice. Clean and modern with a nice shower room. The hotel has a lovely garden where you can sit and eat if you like. I think it also has parking. The couple who own the place are very friendly and helpful. Compared to prices for hotels in Leba, I would say this is good value for money. It's only a few minutes walk from the centre of the village and very close to the train station.

  • Liked — Fresh and modern
  • Disliked — Nowhere to dry wet clothes when it rained!
