Despite having paid in advance for a smoking, sea view room, I was informed that one was not available. However, staff were very polite and helpful. Great swimming pool. Restaurant overpriced as is the breakfast buffet. The rooms do not have air conditioning, not even a fan. That means in the summer you have to have the windows open, and the disco on the pier finishes at 03.00am. Do not expect a good night's sleep here. Everything, apart from reception, is very tired and needs a total refurbishment.

wow....firstly this hotel is nicely situated, BUT......the rooms are from the 60's, and so are the mattresses! the windows are single glazed and mostly face on to other roof tops. You need to pay and extra 10 euro on top of the 50 if you want a "luxury" room with a glimpse of the sea...i mean a glimpse! there's only one key per room and if your sharing you need to ask at desk for the room to be opened if the key is gone with the other person. the WORST part was we had a guys bag in our room which was left into the baggage room when we were leaving to go sightseeing and he came back and was given the room room without any authorization from the room occupants! suddenly this guy who was stinking for all the trip was nicely pampered,washed, shaved and smelling ok when he left our room!! Thanks ORBIS u ruined part of my holiday with lack of trust and professionalism!

Stayed there for one night while visiting Gdansk area. As we have only paid some 25 euros per night, I was still happy with what we got. However, it took some time and persistance to get the non-smoking sea-view room with double bed, as originally booked, because the room that we have initially received was smoking city-view and with two twin beds. The room and bathroom were not the most modern, but acceptable, espeically for what we have paid, but for the prices they charge at high season this would certainly be a rip-off. The breakfast was good, although if you are in a hurry, you may get sandwich and coffee for much less then 35zl at any of the nearby cafes. The hotel is very close to the Gdynia Maritime museum and also a ferry stop for the Hel peninsula. And they really have very big swiming pool, certainly the biggest I have seen at any hotel. They charge for parking, but we were able to find a parking spot right in front of the hotel for free, as it was during the weekend.

If you want to be abused, treated with indifference and enjoy the finer details of Poland under communism then this is the place for you.
Firstly they had lost our booking, even though I had presented them with the booking number. Secondly they wanted to charge us the daily rate, rather than our discounted rate as per the booking. The Wireless Internet didn't work at all in our room, so when I call I was told that I could wok in the lobby?????? and no attempt was made to fix it in the 10 days we were there. The decor is very communist and the whole hotel really need a complete makeover. The shower nozzle in our room was so blocked with lime that more water came out the back than the front. In my parents room the carpet was threadbare and not nailed down. The views form the room were lovely, but when you consider that we paid less for a hotel in Paris (150m from Moulan Rouge) this hotel is in real need of some money and a lot of new staff.
