Stayed here for 2 nights, midweek in June.
Found the location, in a residential area, a little bizarre at first, but then you realise the hotel's proximity to the waterfront and the up-and-coming Fishmaket area, as well as the site of the defence of the Polish Post in 1939, makes it a GREAT location.
All the staff were very welcoming and all spoke great English. The reception provided a range of tourist leaflets in a variety of languages.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful offering cooked options like bacon and scrambled eggs, continental choices as a well as local dishes.
Our room was smallish by some standards but was perfectly adequate for the two of us with a flat-screen TV, a lockable safe and a spotless shower room. We had the added quirk of being in the gabled roof that Gdansk is so renowned for so this added to the charm.
The hotel doesn't have a spa or swimming pool etc but, frankly, after pounding the cobbled streets as a tourist the calves get more than a decent workout!
With a 10-15 minute walk, maximum, to Ul Dluga and less to the waterside and the wealth of cafe/restaurants, it really is hard to find fault with this hotel.
