“Nice and quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

We spent a weekend in this place with my family. Nice, clean, and wide rooms, helpful staff and believe me - exhaustive breakfast with a lot of delicious food. All you need to spend a great time. The only con (?) is that it is located relatively far from Gdansk centre, however bus stop is near and the railway station is 10 min by foot. Don't forget to visit Oliva park and cathedral!

“Сharming hotel in a quiet place”

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend during a trip to Gdansk.
The hotel is located between the center of the city of Gdansk and Sopot (seaside resort). In a quiet area of Gdansk-Oliwa.
To stop SKM Gdansk-Oliwa 5 minutes walk, from 10 minutes and you're on the shore of the Baltic Sea in Sopot, or 15 minutes in the other direction and you're in the historic center of Gdansk.
Rooms at the hotel was not big but comfortable, very friendly staff.
In spite of the check-in 14.00 I may dwell in the room at 13:00 without any problems.
The hotel can beget the animals that for some will be a big plus.
Free Wi-Fi Internet.
In general, a good hotel for its level.

“WILL USE HOTEL AGAIN”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

Hotel situated ideally for looking around Oliwa district and Gdansk city. Taxi into city takes around 20 minutes and costs betwen £10/12. Excellent hotel staff and nothing to much trouble - I am a Coeliac and have to eat gluten free and they catered for me excellently. Breakfast was to die for! It certainly kept you full all day. Everywhere totally spotless in hotel and most staff speak English. Can book airport run with them.
Only downside was that there was no bar or anywhere to sit in the evening other than one table in the front garden (no good if cold or raining). They did let us take our own wine/drink into dinner and in the rooms. Will definitely stay here again when we next visit Gdansk

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be good - not a noisy area

“amazing attention to detail...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

This is a lovely hotel, which felt more like a B&B because it was so homely. There were biscuits available on a cute plate in the entrance, umbrellas for guests to use, a fantastic airport transfer service, dvds to borrow and the most amazing breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel! They basically served us our very own buffet at our table- plates and plates of bread, cheese, meat, toast and freshly boiled eggs to dip soldiers in...and even homemade smoothies! Fantastic.

Our room was lovely too, very clean and comfortable, with a very nice bathroom.

Really, excellent service and not too expensive...we were also able to walk to the train station easily (we also walked to Sopot Beach in around 40mins but I think you can get a train there easily too).

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2011

Wow! What a place! Everything you've read here about a friendly man behind the front desk--Bartek--is true and he speaks English beautifully. The rooms aren't the most modern-looking (think: wood paneling); but they are warm and unpretentious. The cleanliness of the place is excellent (not a speck of dust or dirt or grime in the bathroom). There are over 40 channels offered on TV (versus the average 10-12). Breakfast is very filling--they give you an incredible amount of food. The hotel is well-situated, just a 10 minute walk from the Gdansk Oliwa station (from which you can catch the train to anywhere in the tri-cities) and a 15-25 minute walk to the Baltic Sea-shore. You won't be disappointed choosing this hotel.
