we spent a weekend in February 2012 at The Hanza Hotel and requested a river view. The room was clean and spacious. It only lacked tea and coffee making facilities. The weather was very cold and sadly the museums and art galleries were closed but the hotel is in an excellent spot for the old town.A guide in the room was so useful.

I spent here a great weekend with my family. Hotel has a Perfect location. View from hotel rooms at Motlawa especially in morning is amazing. The rooms are clean and service is nice. The big plus is for the breakfast. My mom asked for a latte one day. On the next day latte was waiting for her on the table without ordering! Price is very reasonable so i will come here for sure

Excellent location for this hotel, just near the river and along the walking area. Close to the Gdansk centre, 5 minutes away from the main sights to visit, the hotel has also nice and large rooms - and in case you need a late dinner, the quality of food is very good! Maybe the prices are a little bit more than the Polish average, but the superb location gives this hotel a special value, both if you are here for holiday or for business.

We felt very welcome at this centrally placed and lovely hotel. Good food, excellent service, nice, large clean room with view over the river and the promenade.
The only thing I could have wished for, is that the cleaning staff didn't hold their morning meeting (or whatever) just outside our door at 8 a.m.
