At first I was disappointed with the location of the hotel. Traveling with an 80-year old meant that we couldn't do a lot of walking. Unfortunately, the 10-minute walk to the historic center was a bit much for her, but as it turned out, the hotel offered the best locale for one of Gdansk's (and Poland's) hidden gems- the Solidarity museum, which is a block north of the place.
Rooms were spacious and clean and the television offered a variety of stations. Breakfast buffet was diverse and well stocked throughout a busy morning. Before our flight, they let us join before the official start so we didn't go without it. It is a bit pricey and the only parking that was available was just across the street in a parking garage, but with the train station just across the street to the west, who needs wheels?
