I had a 3 room apartment with a full patio on the 2nd floor. I had been expecting a room. The apartment came with everything you might want--right down to wine and beer glasses. The room and furnishings were European modern and very clean with not even a scent of staleness or cleaning agents--very fresh. Lots of windows and a nice view of the small town square. Cela, the owner/operator has limited English but better than my Czech. However, communication was no problem and Cela's daughter who has a little more English was around if needed. Cela's breakfasts are prepared fresh for guests. The only slight drawbacks--my apartment did not have air conditioning and I was there during an extraordinary heat wave. But the apartment did have a fan, and so life was comfortable. The Penzion is close to a main road, but the traffic is so light (a few tractors and a motorbike or two) that traffic noise is not much of a problem. Restaurant selection is not great, but they do have well prepared local and general foods. Secure parking and a room in which to lock your bike if you're cycling as I was.
