I got a room at this hotel on a Saturday afternoon this past winter that was arranged by the kind, hardworking woman at the tourist office on the main square.
I just needed a place to sleep as I was just passing through, leaving early next morning.
The hotel was dirt cheap and I suppose it served its purpose. Also on the plus side is the location less than a five minute walk from the main square with the Caesar statue. The room was clean and the bath was fine.
On the negative side it felt like a relic from the communist past. The phone, radio, and b/w TV must have been there since the 1960s. (No matter what I did with the aerial I couldn't get a clear picture on ANY channel). The room was drab, though spacious enough, the corridors were dark and kind of spooky at night and the receptionist on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning was miserable - though the Saturday night girl was fine.
No breakfast, just soft drinks at reception.
I wouldn't stay there more than one night but if a cheap, acceptably clean room with a bath near the main square is all you need then it is functional enough.
