The hotel is ok, nothing special, nothing really bad. Just average 3-4 star hotel. It is a little bit outside of the center, but not very far. There is a construction in progress near the hotel, but the noice is not a problem.
What is a big problem is the attitude of the breakfast staff and staff in general. No greetings at anytime, no smile, bit of attitude and generaly very unfriendly. You feel like an intruder to their personal space. It was just awful. The management carries themselves like gods, they even have perfectly prepared and reserved table at all time in the restaurant. It is just so not how it is supposed to be!

The hotel is renovated and its in a perfect condition. Nice rooms & bathrooms. Stuff is friendly, and i really love their breakfasts. Location is not perfect and sometimes hairs on bed. WIFI Internet for free everywhere. Very low price!

Don't let the name fool you. This is not a 4-star hotel - check the official Czech classification yourself at http://en.hotelstars.cz/certified-facilities-2006-2009/ . The walls are extremely thin, so if your neighbors get up at 5:00 am, you can expect to get up with them. If you want to plug your laptop in or charge your mobile, forget it. There's only one electrical plug in the entire room over in the corner, so you can choose to either use the lamp that's plugged in there, or forgo the light and plug in your laptop or mobile phone.

In all fairness, the air conditioning in the room works quite well, which is a definite plus during the hot summer months.

I stayed only one night and I was quite satisfied. It was near where I needed to be but quite far from the city center. (The tram station is about 500m away). Also the surrounding isn't very nice, though there is a beautiful park within walking distance. The hotel is clean and renovated, the rooms have small balconies, where you can smoke. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was good quality food, tasting good as well. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Staff nice. I think this hotel is mainly for business travellers...those on vaccation should look for something different!
