Hotel is about 10 mins walk from town and they sell Capri sonne, they are the good points!
In the staff handbook they need to write a passage about smiling, not even when we checked in did we see a smile. Oh and so so un-helpful. Avoid breakfast if you value your day, it WILL put you on the toilet and I've seen bible pages thicker than that paper.
If your on a stag weekend then its the perfect hotel with the boys, if your trying to surprise your girlfriend with this hotel then she might just leave you.

I would not recommend this hotel at all! The rooms are shady, part of the bathroom was broken, i would not go barefood on the carpet and if you expect a double bed because you booked one, i hate to disappoint you: two little beds in a tiny little room! the breakfast is in a "cellar" - not nice! on top of it i forgot my (expensive) sunglasses there and although they found them and I sent them the adress, they "lost" them again and where not at all helpful! even the boss wasn´t bothered by that treatment! so althogether i would not go back there again!

Although far from appalling this hotel unfortuntately deserves many of the negative comments in other reviews and has an accumulation of disappointing or poor quality features, which make staying there a poor experience: there was no light in my bathroom only a skylight (hard to wash at night); the main light was operated by a sensor (no switch) going off or on when you didn't want it too; the lift only goes up to the third floor of this five storey building (tough if you have luggage and are on the top floor); breakfast is not that great (watery weak coffee especially annoying) in a dingy basement breakfast room. There are problems with wi-fi access on the top floors.

The staff are indeed offhanded and blunt in a way fairly typical of old style Czech institutions, although far from the rudest or least helpful I have encountered in the Czech Republic in many years of going there. However, the biggest problem is value for money: my two night stay cost 5800 CZK, which is around 300USD or 200GBP for which price you could stay in a decent hotel in Prague let alone Brno.

The hotel's one small advantage is it's fairly central location - 10 mins walk from central Brno and right near the Luzanky park. There is also a great Hare Krishna restaurant round the corner in Luzanecka street called Harebol.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in in my life. I can deal with surly staff, but the rooms were HORRIBLE. Unliveable, unsleepable. Tiny bathroom. No storage space. Not really even beds, more like cots. Breakfast in deplorable Soviet-style room in basement.
