This is a really lovely small hotel. Spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally placed for both the centre of Brno and also a fairly short walk from the main station. The Pegas restaurant/pub on the ground floor served very good food and their own beer and served food to until late evening.

Hotel Pegas is a very nice hotel in the heart of Brno. You find yourself in the very center of the town and enertainment. It is above one of the best places to have a beer and a meal in Brno but reservation is recommended. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are modern and very clean. The sfatff is extremely helpful.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Brno but following recommendations on Trip Advisor and elsewhere I decided to take advantage of a bargain flight there. As the hotel is located right over its brewery and pub it was the obvious place to stay! Very friendly and helpful service, a basic but comfortable room and a decent breakfast with a hot dish cooked on request. It's not a budget hotel by any means but the location right in the middle of all you need to see in Brno justifies the price. It's a lovely city with plenty to keep the visitor busy for a couple of days.

The big attraction of course, is the Pegas brewpub. I'm an unashamed beer snob and I can honestly say that their wheat beer is absolutely world class - up there with the very best beer I've tasted. The 'Gold' was marvellous too (it tastes of strawberry jam!) as was the 'Special'.
