I stayed in the holiday inn for business trips. It is a standard holiday hotel but probably the best in town. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. You can walk down town but a car is beneficial. Breakfast is ok, but no rocket sign. In the restaurant you find good food incl local dishes, however I prefer outside restaurants. Negative, you find hookers at night in the hotel, however they are descent and do not bother.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel during my business trip to Czech. Hotel has very convenient location for mettings during regular fairs and have very reasonable conference amenities. Very good cuisine as well..

Spent a night here in October. Room was cllean and comfortable with a nice modern feel about it. Check in was smooth and easy, with english speaking staff. Shower in the bathroom was a bit tempremental but apart from that there were no issues. Nice big pillows, flat screen TV and a mini bar. No free wireless though. Lots of plugs around the rrom. Window overlooked a car park and a trade entrance to the adjacent exhibition centre.
Relatively easy access to the main town centre by tram (The Number 1) if you're OK with a 5 minute walk to the main road.
We visited the medical school while there which was pretty impressive. The hotel is very near the accomodation for the medical students at the University which is why we chose it.

I have spent one night in the hotel and participated in a conference at the nearby conference centre. The first surprise was that I was upgraded to executive room with complimentary internet, bottled water and chocolate :). The room was nice, but nothing special. The breakfast was a bit below expectations, same for the restaurant staff. But I didn't mind as the service and quality of the lunch overdelivered the expectations. Nice variety, fantastic desserts, overall very good experience. In the hotel, there is sauna and fitness studio, but I had no time for trying them. The conference facilities are also very good, so for this specific reasons I would return.
