We stayed here for a 3 night break just before Christmas 2011. The location is very convenient for the city centre: everywhere in the city is within easy walking distance.
The staff were welcoming and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.
The shower in our room did run cold a couple of times, but after about a 10 minute wait, the hot water came through again.
We were being picked up from the hotel at 6pm on our departure day and the room check-out time was 11am - there was no problem storing our bags while we went out for the day.
We didn't eat at the hotel apart from breakfast, which was very good and offered plenty of choice. It did tend to be very busy between 8.30 and 9am, so maybe worth coming down a bit later if you're in no hurry to get out and about.
I would recommend this hotel.

Arrived with clients for a buisness trip to prague wanted to impress them so booked this hotel as reviews were good and was in good location. Arrived at 9 pm Friday eve only to be told that they had over booked all the rooms and our rooms had been given to other guests !!! Oh but we have booked into another hotel sir just a short trip away same star rating but inferior...

My family and I stayed here twice whilst visiting my brother who was studying at the Conservatoire for a term. The service was excellent - all the staff were most helpful and very friendly and polite. We had two rooms, both of which were of a good size, warm, tastefully decorated and cleaned every day. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and also the amazing breakfast that was included in the price. It meant that we didn't need lunch!
Regarding location, all tourist locations were easily accessible from the hotel - although we did do quite a lot of walking!
Without doubt this hotel provided the most pleasant stay I have ever experienced and I have since recommended it to a friend who is visiting Prague later this month. I would highly recommend 'Best Western Premier Hotel Majestic Plaza' to anyone visiting Prague.

My wife and I visited and stayed at the Best Western Premier Hotel Majestic Plaza on the occasion of our Christmas vacation to Prague this December (2011). In summary we found the hotel to be Comfortable, Clean, Quiet and Centrally Located. We did however agree that it did not bear the markings of a four star hotel geared towards long staying leisure guests. On the contrary it would be more ideal for short staying businessmen.

One thing that stood above others was the in-house spa. Or better put the lack of one. Although they offered and advertised for various spa services, on visiting the spa we found it to be two rooms next to the back of the house which had been hurriedly converted to treatment rooms. This really disappointed us as we were both looking for a relaxing getaway in an ambient environment.

The lobby offers free Wi-Fi, however there is no Wi-Fi connection in the rooms themselves, bar the wired internet connection.

I would once again recommend this hotel to businessmen, and for those mainly seeking a central location, as this is its winning feature.
