“Superb location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

This hotel is really trendy. Japanese style interior which seemed odd when I looked at it on the website, but when I got my room I fell in love with it. We booked through Expedia. The room was small but extremely clean. Luxurious sheets! You cannot ask for a better location, this is super central, right by the metro and was easy for us to get to/from the airport. We walked every where from here during our time in Prague. Great wifi and yummy buffet breakfast. The staff could have been a little friendlier but I would recommend this Hotel for sure.

“Some days in Prague”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Nice hotel with a very good location in central Prague. Rooms are small, but that's usually normal for city center hotels. Good breakfast buffet. Internet is free and performed well. Cleaning is however lacking, only basic surface cleaning is being done it seems. The dirty room killed my experience of this hotel.

“Very nice”

The Perla is what it says it is; a very well situated, modern base for exploring. The rooms are exactly as advertised on their site, neat and comfortable, very modern deco - small, but ample for its purpose.
The reception staff are superb, the restaurant is actually nicer than you would expect - very tasteful with even tastier breaksfasts. It's really just a breakfast room / cafe for light snacks - no dinner menu, but so many alternatives near by. There's good wifi and PCs in the restaurant, a gym etc which we didn't use so can't comment on - who needs exercise in Prague? Sore legs and feet every night from walking the sites! The area it's in is someties reported to be a red light area in some guides, although it wasn't till our last evening we spotted anything in this regard - an erotic supermarket that looked for all the world like a semi-chem and a lap dancing bar - and which city is without one of those?
The nicest thing abou the hotel is the area around it - 2 mins from Bethlehem Chapel (which isn't really worth the entrance fee) and surrounding area, which has lots of lovely eateries, amazing architecture and beautiful doors and doorways. Look out for the Hanging Man just around the corner! The hotel is half way between the Astronomical Clock and Wenceslas Sq - a 2 min walk to either. It's not the kind of hotel you want to lounge about your room in - but that's good in Prague!

Room Tip: I think they're all identical - the road noise can be a little noisy if you're looking out o...

“Perfect location in Prague”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

I was delighted to have stayed 3 nights at the Perla Hotel in Prague between Christmas and New Year. Excellent location, great value (booked through Expedia). Really friendly hotel staff and very accommodating. Rooms and public areas very clean and modern. We didn't have a fridge in the room which wasn't too much hassle, but the only thing I really missed was a kettle! Often European hotels have coffee machines where you have to pay for coffee in your rooms nowadays, which does frustrate too, but not even that. The cafe bar on the 1st floor was open until 11pm and it served tea and coffee, but a kettle in the room would have been better!!
Breakfast was a delight. I'm wheat intolerant and there was an excellent selection from cereals and porridge to cooked options every day - most impressed. Free internet in the cafe bar was a bonus too. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Room Tip: Breakfast and free internet is on the 1st floor, so this may be abit noisier than other floors.

Thank you so much for taking the time and giving us your positive feedback. I am sorry about the missing kettle which is a standard especially in Britain and during cold winter in Prague we should consider this free, perhaps not for 5eurs extra cost per stay. I am always happy to take personal care of your friends coming to Perla in the future. Happy New Year. Tomas

“Nice hotel”

Very well located to the old town everything is in easy walking distance. The hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was included and was very good. Room was quiet, airconditioed and had bar fridge. Good value for money.
However, as we stayed for 5 nights, I expected to get toiletries at least a couple of times, which did not happen.
