A friend and I stayed here for two nights over the Easter weekend. The location is convenient for getting straight to Old Town Square etc. We didnt use public transport once whilst we were there, walked everywhere. Rooms were basic, beds were hard and uncomfortable. Shower was cold and didnt give out enough water for even a reasonable wash. Breakfast wasnt great, but its the same as I've experienced before in Prague. Mainly cheeses, cold meats, breads and cereals.
All these parts of the hotel I was fairly happy with, my main complaint is the customer service given by the staff. They were rude, unhelpful and I found this very upsetting. Throughout our stay I was not impressed with their attitude but it was the last day that really annoyed me. The staff flat out refused to call us a taxi to the airport unless we used "their" taxi company, who charged more than double the amount of the one we wanted to use. They wouldn't even let us use the phone ourselves to call and were very rude about it. Eventually we ended up using one of our mobiles which I dont believe we should have had too (especially as my phone company charges for foreign calls) and then while we waited for our taxi we received nasty glares the entire time from the girl behind reception. Not impressed!
Loved Prague, did not love this Hotel. Not worth the money, there are much better hotels for around the same price.

although rooms are clean the hotel does not live upto its rating, tea or coffee on your first day only, we picked this hotel because it had a restaurant but although we wanted a meal about 7pm we were told it was booked all week as they had italian students there and they had it booked for 10pm every night we also asked for extra pillows but were told they were fully booked and had no spare (what would happen if someone was ill) we booked through cresta and had transfers booked for the airport when we asked what time the taxi would pick us up we were told cresta not good maybe 12.30 or 1.30 so all in all prague is a lovely city and the location of hotel is not bad we would not stay there again or recomend it purely because of the unhelpful staff it seems if you are english bad luck but if you are italian or german or russian then you are more than welcome

Not the full group this time just a couple of us got out there on the bikes. This hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of the sights etc. The staff were pleasant and very helpfull we struck up a good repour and had a good laugh with them. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food is good and the hotel bar is reasonably well stocked, We would be happy to stay here in the future. www.scottishfreebikers.com

i have visit prauge cecmber 2011 and got a plesent experience .the stuff was smily and care ' the facilities was perfect and i'm sure will visit it again
