“Charming hotel, beautiful city.”

My wife booked us in to the Savic Hotel in Prague for our 18th Anniversary through Travel Republic at somewhat of a bargain. She checked Trip Advisor first and found all the good reports on the Savic Hotel. All the good reports were well founded as this hotel was just lovely. We arrived late on a Friday night and were greeted by a friendly member of staff and complimentary drinks. We were quickly checked into our room and directed to our room (311), the room was tastefully decorated and very clean, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. There was a well stocked mini bar, room service (if required) and limited english speaking channels on the wall mounted flat screen tv. Breakfast was also a treat, with a chef happy to cook your eggs how you wanted them, including omelettes, plus the usual continental breakfast items. We found all the staff to be very friendly.
All in all the hotel was lovely base to warm back up in after the extreme cold we had to endure whilst in Prague but that didn't not in any way spoil our stay. We would both definitely stay in this hotel again. Thank you Savic Hotel!

“Wonderful hospitality in Prague!”

We were greated by Vladimir, which was an experience unto itself! Such enthusiasm and so welcoming. Vladimir couldnt do enough to make our trip perfect! He offered us the choice of three rooms, taking us all around the wonderful querky converted monastery situated in the heart of the Old Town. The room we chose was perfect, in the loft with old beems, warm and very cosy with king size bed and luxury bathroom. A bath is a must there! Vladimir's loves his food and wants you to enjoy it too! So take him up on his excellent recommendations. We had a feast at U Modre Kachnicky II, just around the corner from the hotel!

The Savic location is perfect, we spent the weekend sigtseeing and popping back for siestas and to warm up a bit! It was -16 there in February, very romantic, but very cold! The breakfast was just perfect, personal touch with the waiters, freshly made eggs at the counter. The poached eggs were made in front of you and to perfection. We couldn't fault anything about our stay, which made our Valentine break one to remember. Highly recomended and value for money.

Room Tip: Apparently, if you tell them it's your birthday, they upgrade you for free (if avaialble)! Som...

“Great hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Just returned from a long weekend in Prague and staying at this hotel made it all the more pleasurable. Location was perfect, 3 mins from Old Town square (Astronomical Clock) and no more than 5 mins from Charles bridge. Staff were always friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable - only reason I didn't give a 5/5 for the room is due to their being no bath although the shower was of a good size which helped compensate a little (it would appear there are rooms with bath so I guess we were slightly unlucky). Breakfast area was full one morning but we were quickly accommodated in the adjacent room which they used a a restaurant. Reception staff advised us on places of interest social events and places to eat which was very helpful. I managed to accidentally lock the electronic safe in the room one day and when i informed the gentleman on reception he accompanied me to the room and resolved this immediately. I've been in hotels where guests are charged for this so was very much appreciated when this was sorted straight away with no charge, thank you. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Great location & caring staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

The hotel is a stone throw from the main square, lots of shops and near to Charles Bridge as well. The welcome by the hotel reception was excellent, offered a choice of beer or wine while she arranged for the room check in. Gave a very thorough brief on hotel facilities, places to visit etc. Room is excellent, quirky with the wooden ceiling beams and flooring, chandelier but modern bathroom. Breakfast offering was superb with a chef who cooks up a fab tasty pan cake as well as omelette. Wide choices of fruits. I fell sick due to the extreme cold weather that week in Europe. The staff was great, came up with a local concoction of milk and honey and had my breakfast sent to my room! That was certainly extraordinary service.
