Firstly, we found the receptionist Andrea extremely helpfull and friendly. The hotel is suitated up the hill from Prague Castle and is in a courtyard with a monastery and a beautiful church. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and had a mezzaine level, the bedroom on the top and the living area on the bottom with shower room and WC. This is one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. (I gather the rooms are different on the first floor.) The view of the church and courtyard was amazing from both the bedroom and livingroom. From the hotel it's a 2Km walk down hill to the central square in the old town, however the walk is very pleasant, dotted with beautiful buildings along the way. If you are not feeling energetic, you can get Tram No. 22 from just outside the courtyard walls. Breakfast was very good too. Overall the hotel had great charm and character and we would definitely recommendit to other travelers.
