Me and my girlfirend stayed here for 5 nights at the end of March 2007. The Hotel has been upgraded within the past couple of years from 1 star to 3 stars and although the room was basic, it was a decent size, clean and overall perfectly acceptable.
The Hotel is located centrally a short stroll from Wenceslas square, within walking distance of the old town square and a pleasent afternoon stroll away from Charles bridge and the castle (or you can get the tram).
The Hotel staff were great, no problems at all. They were even happy to pose for a picture for another guest upon her checkout, as well as
arranging a cheap taxi back to the airport for us when we left.
Although we paid for breakfast we didn't bother with it any of the days we were there so I can't comment on this.
The Hotel section of the building is completely separate to the Hostel section; if this kind of thing concerns you there's no need to worry! We alse tried the attached restaurant "Pasta E Basta" on our first night and it was pretty poor. However, with the abudance of great bars and restaurants in the area there's no need to visit it really.
We paid £218 between the two of us for 5 nights including breakfast through Hotelopia, which for a 3 star hotel in central Prague is very good value indeed.
No complaints at all, would definitely stay again.
