“Horrible place, but really good location!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2009

We stayed here for 6 nights in October 2008.

Good points:
- Really perfect location: only 10 min walk to the old town centre or 5 min walk to the tram stop.
- Breakfast was Ok: cheeses, meats, boiled eggs, cereals, coffee
- Friendly staff

Bad points:
- The room and the bathroom were Really Horrible - dirty and shabby, with terrible unbearable smell from the bathroom the first tree days. There was noise from the bowling until 4 a.m.

“Awful, but fantastic location!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 April 2009

Hello to everybody, who is planning to visit this hostel. Some words from my experience there –
1. The staff is really friendly and they speak not bad english
2. The breakfast was OK
3. The Location is really fantastic !!!
4. The rooms, WC and the showers are Awful. Horrible… Terrible. There are two showers – one without door and the second with broken shower...the choice is yours where you will take a shower. There are also bugs in the rooms.
Honestly, If I have to visit Prague once again, better pay some euros more, but at least you will pay this money for taking a normal shower.
Ciao

“You get what you pay for!!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2008

Had a lovely week-end in Prague, the hotel was very close to all the tourist sites, it was basic but clean, the breakfast was bread cheese and meats, which is what you usually get in european countries. The only complaint was that the dining room wasn't big enough when a large group of students were staying in the hostel part, it was sheer bedlum, but at least the food didn't run out.

I would definitely recommend people to stay there as it was an excellent base for a city break without breaking the bank!!

“Hostel Junior = Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2008

We have just returned from our stay at Hostel Junior and it was a good experience all round! Our shared room with 6 bunks was more than adequate for our needs and was clean on arrival with a good view of the clean streets of Prague. The location is fantastic... a very short walk to the Old Town Sq and even closer to Wenceslas Sq. The breakfast provided is simple but nice and was very well stocked with a wide range of continental foods. Other guests were polite, like minded folk who enjoyed a chat over breakfast or a beer in the bar. Staff were friendly, helpful and available 24 hours for advice. Would recommend!

“Excellent Location, Clean, but!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2008

Hotel came in two parts, one half was a 1 star Hostal, and the other from which we stayed was a 3 star Hotel.

Good Points:

As far as the Hotel goes it was very clean and couldn't fault it, the room was a very nice size, and bathroom basic yet once again clean.
Location was good 5-10mins walk to the main town centre.

Staff at the hotel were very good and happy to help you on directions etc.

Bad Points:

As mentioned before the Hotel and Hostel are together split by a 20ft outdoor courtyard with a bar in the centre, so what ever you do try and get a room NOT overlooking the courtyard as you will be kept awake until 4am with the student who stay in the hostal. This is made worse by not having aircon in your room so having to either keep your window closed and bake, or keep it open and hear every noise.

The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but was ok for the price of the hotel.

Would i stay there again?, poss not due to the Hostel being attached, but maybe that was bad look on our stay as it was full of rowdy school kids 15-17yrs old?
