We stayed here as a couple in November 2011 and it was fantastic. Kristina welcomed us in with a cup of tea and gave us a map of the city, pointing out various points of interest. She was a fantastic help when it came to planning our trips, helping us work out which trams to take etc.
Aparthotel City 5 was perfect for us. It was clean, bright and friendly. Our room was on the top floor and had a kitchenette with tea making facilities but we ate out every night as Prague is so cheap!
We opted to have breakfast each day, where we were offered doughnuts, croissants, toast, cereals and of course: Kristina's world famous cheese and ham toasties!
The aparthotel is the other side of the river from the main touristy areas, about a 15 minute walk away. This gives you the best of both worlds, with a quiet place to rest in a slightly cheaper area, while still being close enough for site seeing.
Our flight home wasn't until 9pm, meaning we checked out of our room at 12. However, even though we were checked out, we were still welcome to sit in the cafe and keep our bags in the storage room, making us feel like we were still valued guests even though our stay was over.
I hope to return to Prague again, and will definitely be staying here, it was perfect! Thank you Kristina xx
