A great place found by my girlfriend just outside of Prague central. The staff were great and the food was fantastic in their restaurant. They also offer a complimentary taxi into town which was incredibly useful.

I stayed at Chateu St. Havel in May 2011 for 4 nights with my girlfriend. Hotel is situated in a quiet part of Prague few kilometers from center, but since I was with my car, I had no trouble with transportation. Hotel offers free taxi to center of town anyway. Outside of hotel is a small golf ground which gives this hotel some special charm. You can have breakfast on a terrace with a view on the lake and the fresh cut grass - really extraordinary experience!
Personal is mostly young and highly professional. They are on your disposal at any time and they'll help you with anything you need.
We only had breakfast which contains of lots of various type of meal and beverages. After 4 days breakfast still wasn't boring! On a 3rd day it was my birthday, and they served champagne and strawberrys for everyone. Very nice gesture.

Since I booked a hotel several months earlier, and in the meantime currency had changed to worse, reception had arranged a special money rate for me and saved me around 25€. That was very professional.

Mainly I spoke to mr Lorentz, and I can only have words of gratitude for him.
Great vacation in a beautiful city and charming hote.-

Stayed here in this nicely renovated country manor from a bygone area. The place sits on a golf course. Staff was helpful. What stood out was the breakfast which include made to order breakfast and specialty coffee, like latter or hot chocolate. The place is about half hour from the centre but the hotel does offer a free one way shuttle there. You have to your own way back.

Be warned: The direction given on the hotel website is wrong. Asking for direction is an equally waste of time.

This hotel looks nice on the web and is ok when your in the place but to get to it you have to drive through a small factory estate/petrol station, the strangest entrance to such a place I've ever seen, though once on the grounds it's very nice.
We had friends stay the night before we got there and they said the service was awful, it wasn't so bad for when we were there but we had a Czech person with us which probably helped. They main guy on the desk was very help and in general a breath if fresh air in the place.
We booked the juquzzi fir an hour which was nice but at an extra cost and drunks served in plastic glasses!!! (bare in mind we were all adults).
We never ate as our friends said the food was again just OK, we travelled into the town which is about £12 away in a taxi.
The room we had was very nice, big and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was again just Ok, wacky giant circular tables that seat about 15 people, nice if your in a group but nit if your on your own.

All in all not bad but far better places in the center of Prague fir the same price.
