“Excellent staff, clean, great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Just returned from a 2 week trip to Europe and glad I chose Hotel Inos when in Prague. This hotel provided me everything I look for in a room/hotel. It was immaculate, free internet, good breakfast, parking on site (underneath via a really cool car elevator), comfortable bed, quiet, great price, two block walk and a short tram ride into town, and best of all excellent staff. Wendy in particular was such a genuinely nice person and so very helpful. There is a really good little restaurant just across the street and up a little bit. We intend to return to Prague as it was our favorite city and we didn't allow enough time there and will definitely stay at Hotel Inos again.

“A great hotel - but too far from the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

I chose this hotel based on what I read here on tripadvisor. The only thing it seems nobody ever wrote about, it's how far from the metro station it is. The hotel is pretty good. Free wireless internet, good breakfast for a reasonable price, the room was big and comfortable, very clean, but you had a 15 minutes walk, and the streets were not "flat" at all! It was almost like clibing a mountain on my most tired days... Other than that, the hotel is pretty good, but I would probably try another one closer to the metro station on my next stay in Prague!

Dear guests,

thank you for your nice review. I know our hotel is quite far from the nearest metro station. That´s the reason why we suggest to use a very near tram (it ´s just 3 minutes far from our hotel).

I guess our location is pretty good for many people (quiet part of Prague) but the other sort of people like rather real city live in the centre.

Have a nice day

“Great Valve, Clean and comfortable.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Great deal for Prague, which is get more expensive by the day.

I have spent weeks in this hotel and feel its by far the best deal in Prague hand down, its 10 min by tram from center .

Also if you avid swimmer like me, its a 10min walk to an Olympic size Indoor and Outdoor swimming pools

Hello,

thank you very much for your comments and very good rating. You should visit that swimming pool in Podoli in summer time. It´s a perfect place to relax.

“big, clean and airy loft room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

the reception staff are extremely friendly and fluent in English, and they're more than happy to help you with directions and recommendations on things to do and places to see in Prague.

we also arrived at the unearthly hour of 5am amidst numbing rain and howling winds, and so we paid 20 euros extra for an early check-in, which we felt was totally worth it since we hardly got any sleep the night before.

breakfast is also included in the room rates, and offers a wide selection of cold and hot dishes, pastries, breads and spreads. they also like serving up loads of pates, so if you're a fan of those, lucky you!

the hotel is about a 5-10min walk to the tram stop that offers a range of trams you can take into the city. you can buy tram passes from the front desk as well. as for the subway, it's a good 15-20min walk from the hotel.

“Out of the way, but worth the stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011

Hotel Inos is a little out of the way and could be a little difficult to find at night, which is when we arrived, so we took a taxi (negotiate the price beforehand). The next morning, when we asked at the reception, we were given a map, details about the transportation, helpful tips about nearby restaurants, etc. We actually ate ate one of them, which was okay and reasonably priced. Once we figured out the transportation links, as well, we were not really too far from everywhere (maybe 15 minutes by tram and metro). We found an awesome little pub across the street with cheap beer and great soup. Just down the street were several grocery stores (where you could buy still water and beers to go), a fresh fruit and vegetable market, and the most amazing cheese and meat deli that also sold wine. We picked up a random precut piece of cheese, half a salami (she let us buy half), and some delicious dark rye bread, some fresh tomatoes........beer, bottle of wine........and had a picnic in our room the first night, because we did not know how to get around. It was worth it! Then we discovered the pub. (We were traveling by train and got it late - after 4 - it was already dark out!)
Our room was clean, had 2 twin beds pushed together, had a little balcony (good for smokers), faced the front street which was pretty quiet, had a great shower (toiletries provided). The hotel is green, so be sure to hang up your towels, so they can be reused.
The reception staff was very friendly and helpful! She ordered us a hotel when we were leaving Prague and going to the airport - we knew the price of the taxi beforehand. Believe me, it was a 45 minute ride at 3:30 in the morning, when there was no traffic, you do need to take a taxi to the airport. Anyway, all in all a very nice stay at a great little hotel.
ps did not eat the breakfast, chose to eat at the Christmas markets.

Room Tip: I don't know if there are any "bad" rooms. Ours faced the street and was quiet. We w...
