A group of 7 of us stayed here earlier this week and had a great time The interior of the hotel is interesting, though the welcome on arrival was not especially warm. The rooms are absolutely fine, and you should be aware that nowhere in central Prague is going to be quiet at any stage! Breakfast was fine, if lukewarm, and the morning staff were much better that the night before. Location is superb, and the easiest of walks to anywhere in the centre of town. Taxi to airport cost 650 /crowns, or about £20

Location is very central on a busy pedestrian street but it's noisy ALL NIGHT long in the room. Was very hot and rooms have no AC so closing the windows was not an option. Single person staff was friendly. A very average experience!

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends (15 of us)! It was without doubt the best value for money we have ever spent for our girls weekends away (and there have been a few).
The hotel is right in the centre of the Old Town, literally just round the corner from the Astronomical Clock. We were here for a good time and late nights, along with plenty of sightseeing, so it was perfect for us. If you don't want to be kept awake at night then stay somewhere not as central as this.
We occupied 5 rooms in the hotel 2 of which were the apartments that slept 4 and these were great (1 of them especially). I have to say that the shower in my room left alot to be desired (you had to hold it over your head yourself and it produced brown water occasionally).
Not 1 of us had anything to complain about. The staff were friendly and our rooms were ready much sooner than the advertised time which was brilliant as we arrived in Prague at lunch time and wanted to get showered and back out again.
It really is a beautiful city and a must see for everybody. I can't recommend this hotel enough for anybody that wants to be in the heart of the City. Look about for prices as we only paid about £25 each for 2 nights!!!!!
I would definately stay here again. You couldn't get a better location.

Although this hotel is right in the heart of Old Town, it is not a good location as there is too much night life and noise. In July, having the windows open made the heat bearable, but the noise level made sleep impossible before 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. The beds were really cheap and uncomfortable with only a heavy duvet, much too warm for July. We had to remove the coverlet and use it as a sheet. The automatic sensor to turn on the hall light does not come on until you have walked the length of the hall, leaving you in darkness. The reception staff in general did not speak good English and was not particularly friendly or helpful. When we tried to buy concert tickets (advertised for sale there), the concierge could not get through. When we bought the tickets at the box office, however, we were charged a much lower ticket price. The great location does not compensate for the lack of comfort and poor sleep.
