Chose the hotel for the central location and because we knew and liked this square on Kampa Island, which is surprisingly quiet considering it is beside the Charles Bridge. The hotel is very small, only having 6 rooms. We had room 2, on 1st floor with view over the square and to the Castle. It was spacious, with a large lobby with the wardrobe, and good bathroom with underfloor heating. The welcoming plate of fruit and the small bottle of local sparkling wine created a caring impression. Staff were all helpful. Breakfast was excellent for this size of establishment, far better than we had expected, and especially impressed that on our first morning, despite being only residents, the full breakfast selection was laid out and we were given a 3 hour availability. In the circumstances we would happily have agreed a time the night before. Breakfast room has lovely view of Charles Bridge. The only downside was that the outer door is kept locked and you have to ring for access, but we only had to wait several minutes on one occasion. We had tea/coffee making facilities in room. We booked direct with hotel and they always replied to our emails promptly. We asked them to arrange transport from the airport (700 ckr) which worked well. We would certainly stay there on our next visit to Prague.
