We had a great stay at Green lobster!
A four days dreamtrip, so we were looking for some quaint, romantic, comfortable, pitoresque clean and warm place, history and space. And we got what we wanted here!
After small talk, the reception gave us half of the attic: a faboulous space with a big loft, skylights, wooden staircase, comfortable, all the necessary and luxury, not to mention the views - splendid panoramas everywhere, even in the bathroom.. Now thats what i call a nice crib in prague when you're all set to check this beautiful city!
The hotel is best-located, no doubt. Neighbouring the castle, it is situated on a historic street and just 10min walk to Karl's Bridge. Just across the street there is a open-all-day minimarket that is practical.
There are hundreds of possibilities around the city but we also suggest any of the small restaurants on the street, nearby the hotel.
The breakfast was the same but ok and proper and the staff was friendly and helpful, thank you very much!

Travelled here for a 3 night stay to celebrate my husbands 50th b/day.We had booked a deluxe room but on arrival were upgraded to a superior(for free) which was accross the road in the BIJOU DE PRAGUE HOTEL.The room was fantastic a very pleasent surprise,it was fantasticly furnished& decorated having a four poster bed that was huge,armchairs,dining table/chairs,tea/coffee making facilities,hot plate and mini bar.The ceiling was hand painted in a vine pattern and the bathroom was superb.
The staff were friendly and helpfull. Ideal location to the castle and walking distance to the centre etc.Many good bars and restaurants nearby,We couldnt fault this hotel at all. We also visited O,che,s bar in liliova,old town.George&Dragon(english bar)Old Square.Pizzerie u Costella,pizza,pasta bar in Lesser Town.

We spent 3 nights here and couldn't fault it. It is outside of the busier parts of town which suits us and within easy walking distance of the Charles Bridge and other sights. The room was lovely overlooking the road up to Prague castle. We like smaller hotels and this was quirky in a good way. Staff were very helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommended. There are many restaurants nearby and a very good pizza/pasta cafe opposite the hotel (when you want a change from all those dumplings) where everything is freshly made and not expensive.

Stayed at this Hotel 11-14 December 2011. We had a Superior Room which was located across the road from the main Hotel and Reception. The room was superbly furnished and decorated - four poster bed, armchairs, dining table/chairs, tea/coffee making facilities, hot plate and mini bar. The decor was fantastic - the ceilings were what appeared to be handpainted. Bathroom was excellent too. It appeared this room had been recently refurbished. Staff/Reception were very friendly. Ideal location to the Castle and also walking distance into Centre. Plenty of restaurants close to hotel. We travelled with another couple and a single traveller who were accommodated in the main Hotel. We visited their rooms and can also say that they were equally impressive. Highly recommended.
