This is a great inexpensive hotel for travelers who are just looking for the basics: clean showers, and a safe place to sleep and store their belongings. The building and interiors look like they haven't been updated in more than a decade, but generally speaking, the place is clean. The receptionists were also helpful. My friends and I did not encounter any problems with our online reservation and we can always ask them for directions to places. Our room had 3 beds and 1 bathroom. There was a lot of storage space, the shower works well, there is cable TV and wireless internet access. Overall, the room was great. The biggest problem one may encounter may be noise. Since it is walking distance from from the tourist attractions, there's a lot of activity outside, even at night. The windows don't quite shut out the noise. It may be a problem for some, although it was bearable for me, since I was so tired from walking the whole day that I would fall asleep immediately.

There are two things about this hotel that give it a really excellent value for the money. The first one is free breakfast. You have to walk to the fancier hotel across the street, but the menu is diverse and quite substantial- bread, cheese, meats, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice etc.. My friends and I would eat until we were full and just walk out and start a day of sightseeing. The second one is location. Popular attractions are just 5 minutes away. It can't get any better than that.

Well, it is not only location. The motel is clean, and the staff is friendly. But it is access to nearby nightclubs and restaurants, and of course the old city, that makes Accord really attractive. The rooms are surprisingly spacious. The bed was a bit hard for my taste.

I stayed at Pension Accord with my 3 kids (9,9, 17) and husband for 2 nights on an unexpected extended visit to Prague. The Pension has an excellent location, just a few blocks from the main city square in Praha 1. It has a foreboding, Communist-era office building facade, with main office on street level in a separate storefront, and first floor of main building comprising the small pension. Rooms were super clean, bright, comfortable, very simple (no internet, cable worked in one, but not the other, no fridge, just the basics). Street-side rooms have amazing windows, but given the party that seems to rage nightly, can be loud till the wee hours - not a good side for light sleepers. Courtyard-side rooms are completely quiet except for occasional, charming bell tower tolling that seems to stop late at night. Big windows, comfy beds, cable, good water pressure, nice towels. Great value at about 3k Kc total for a triple and a double room with typical Eastern European breakfast at hotel across the street. Friendly concierge speaks great English. A hidden gem that I will frequent when visiting the Golden City.

this is a pension with 11 rooms on the first floor of an apartment building, which is not friendly from the outside, but absolutely OK from inside. as others mentioned before, you get exactly what is on the pictures on the website. one thing: the cleanliness is not good, our room was not vacuumed for weeks. otherwise, bathroom was OK, and the linen in the bed was really clean, great quality. the problem with the noise exist, but as young travelers, we were OK with it. the problem is that there is only a single-glass window on the room along the wall facing the street that lets technically all noise in. for us, after a full day walk in the city, it meant no problem at all. breakfast works now: one bar is like 10 min walking distance, so we picked the other option: hotel central opposite this pension (3star hotel), their buffet breakfast (7-10) was acceptable average quality. hotel staff friendly and flexible, we could check in early and check out late. the location is absolutely fabulous, and this price definitely worth it. as in the absolute downtown, i would not recommend to come by car. old town square 5 min, metro the same. in 4 days we didn't use any public transport :)
