I found this hostel just 5 minutes walk from the main trainstation and I can recommend it to all travellers. The dorm rooms was cheap, the stuff was friendly and helpfull but the biggest advantage of this hostel was its central location. Lot of sightsseing during the day and lot of bars i the night just in walking distance.

I came to Prague to spend there 2 days. Finally I spent there 5 great days and one of the reasons was this hostel.

I recently stayed at AZ Hostel and was really disappointed. Lonely Planet described it in their latest Central Europe guidebook as homely, but I would describe it as dowdy and cold. The double my partner and I stayed in was spartan to say the least. The room was four ugly concrete walls, a bed, table and desk. There was no lamp, mirror or bin and the curtains did not cover the window adequately.

It was 1300CK for the room for the one night we stayed, which I think was a bit steep. Unlike other hostels we've stayed in, despite advertising a kitchen, it did not have a kitchen. At best, the "kitchen" could be described as a tea room i.e. you could boil water, but you could not cook a meal here.

Unfortunately, the only good thing I can say about this hostel was that the location is excellent, only about ten minutes walk from the Hlavi Nadrazi and is about five minutes walk to Wenceslas Square.

A very nice hostel near Wenceslas Square. We stayed in a room with 6 beds. The people working there were very kind and helped us with informations. The kitchen was clean and also the bedsheets. In the room we got lockers, but you need to bring your padlock or you can buy one at the reception.

Stayed there for 5 Days over the new year eve. Had a great time. The location of this place cant be better ;) not more than 10 steps the duplex club directly located in the center of prague. The Rooms and washrooms were clean and okay! Can recommand this place to everyone who want to party in prague and needs a save, clean place to sleep! Stuff was also friendly and helpfull.
