This was my second visit to this hotel after staying here with 8 mates on a stag weekend. Then we had 2 large apartment suites which were absolutely ideal.
I was that impressed with the City I took my wife back a few weeks later and stayed in the same hotel and again, was perfect.

The location is great, 5mins walk from the top of the main strip.

Food was ok, I am not a morning eater but as far as choice goes it was good.

Service and cleanliness was spot on. Couldn't be faulted.

My only draw back is the in-room safe. It can be opened with any bank card that has a strip on the back so we weren't quite sure what the point in having a safe was.

Over-all, a good, cheap hotel to look around this amazing city.

Advice- Head to The Rope Makers Wife pub (bottom of the square, just past the large clothing shop on the right,there is a small side road. Its on the left.

The room is confortable, there´s enough space, clean and.quiet.The location is central. Breakfast is ok, with bread, cheese, eggs and juice. The staff is helpfull. I recomend.

This one is a mess in every way. Too bad: the building is an old one, and it looks like they put some money into renovating it -- but only to recreate shabby apartments which might have been in fashion during the depths of soviet times. Absolutely no sense of taste or style -- room furnished with junk shop rejects. Decrepit bed, old TV, no air-conditioning, musty smell. Nothing good in this space. Add to this an elevator that starts on the second floor, a cramped feeding area for breakfast. Management appears to be Russian as is most of clientele. No kind of concept of guest service rounds out the picture. Note: hotel is in network of travel agency which sets the rates, so hard to get a straight answer on room cost. Fortunately, many other hostelry choices nearby.

The room was nice and clean. The breakfast didn’t vary much from day to day but the choice was good enough. Location good. The staff was very firendly and gave us a lot of information about public transport and helped us arrange a trip to Karlovy Vary by bus. A comfortable and cozy hotel.
