“Nice hotel, good location, Ask for Air con !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 May 2011

Stayed here for work then my partner came over for the weekend.
The hotel was nice and clean and the metro is a 3 min walk away!

There are a few local shops around the hotel.
It does get hot in the room but like other reviewers have mentioned the air con doesn't come on.
But if you ask at reception they will put it on for you.
Also a huge disappointment is that Wifi is NOT available in the room.
You need to stay outside reception or in the breakfast room for this to work.

The breakfast was a buffet style and had a selection of items.

Overall it was a good hotel and I would go back.

Room Tip: Ask for Air con and they will turn it on for you!

“Good Location in the New Town”

Very clean and comfortable hotel within walking distance of the train station or only a block from IP Pavlova metro station. Most of the city is readily accessed by the Metro from IP Pavlova. The windows are soundproofed for the busy city traffic and the rooms are smartly decorated. Staff were very helpful with directions and spoke english. The breakfast was very good for continental and the breakfast staff were very efficient.

“elegant hotel for a good price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2010

this hotel is a bit outside the historical center of prague, u walk from main station ca 15 min.

its on a main road so its not recomended to take one of the rooms with window to the street. rooms are big, bath also. fitnessroom in cellar could be improoved as its not really a training-area but just some fitness-gadgets put there. guests dont use it much.

internet terminal is in the same room, sometimes taken as theres only one pc for all guests.

breakfast is served as buffet u can eat as much as you like but coffee or tea is only out of the automatic-machine.

as this hotel is run by italian company many guests are italian. there's a 24-hour reception table.

all in all there might be better hotels but price is reasonable

“Nice hotel in good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2010

We stayed at the Tivoli in the end of September 2010 and were happily surprised with the quality of the hotel, especially considering its price. The location is good, and with the metro one is in two stops in the heart of the centrum. Breakfast was good as well, with yogurt, fruit and different choises of bread. We had a room on front, but did not mind the road, whereas the hotel has double glass the rooms are sufficient silent to have a good sleep, even in the rooms on the front.

“Very good but can be noisy...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2010

...if your room's windows open on the main street. If you shut the windows in summer it gets very hot and the air conditioning operates only when the temperature exceeds 25 deg.C ( as we were told by the receptionist).
Otherwise, strongly recommend it. Clean and tidy. Good value money.
