Amazing apartment, not too far from the touristy parts of Prague. Totally worth it for EUR 10 a night per head (5 people sharing an apartment). Seriously, this is cheaper than the rent I pay in London and the apartment here is much much nicer.

What I liked:
1. Huge apartment
2. Very clean and nice
3. Friendly staff, spoke good English
4. Reasonably priced pickup from Airport and Drop-off at Train Station
5. Kitchen with Utensils
6. Located 10 min walk from the Old Town, Charles Bridge, Castle and other attractions.
7. CHEAP!!!
8. Free WiFi in rooms

What I disliked:
1. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity

As the name says, it is an aparthotel. So the room is a large one, with a small kitchen and a good-size bathroom. We had our room in the first floor (No. 211). The location is ok, because the Tram stop (Arbesovo) is only 100 feet away, and the Metro sation (Andel) is just one stop away in tram.
The lock of the bathroom door was damaged, but we didn´t care. The room was warm, the water hot and everything clean, so I would ask more for the $33 per night we paid.

Top floor apartment has a roof window which you cannot close in the living room, so if you sleep there you will wake up early in the morning... However it is a very good apartment, clean, big bathroom with bidet, friendly staff, good position, quite during night.

First the bad news! I booked an apartment via [--] and was given as my hotel 'VK Apartments at Janska 7. (I found this on the map and was happy with the location) It then turned out that this was a lower level agency that allocated me to Artesse Apartments - without any notification what so ever. The location of these apartments is not as good and had I known where they were I would not have accepted the offer of the booking. You can see from the following information that it is not a 'central location'.

National Theater – 1.5 kilometers (1 mile)
Prague Castle – 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles)
Wenceslas Square – 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles)
Vyšehrad Castle – 3 kilometers (2 miles)
Old Town Square – 3 kilometers (2 miles)
National Museum – 3 kilometers (2 miles)
Jewish Quarter – 3.5 kilometers (2 miles)

There is however, a good tram service nearby and a metro station about half a mile away.

The apartment itself was clean, furnished in an old style but with bright covers and curtains etc. No carpets or rugs but a new wooden floor. The bathroom, with bath and shower is very modern, fully tiled and well fitted out. The kitchen is minimum with a nice fridge, small hotplate and, in my case, a microwave on the dressing table!

The reception staff were on duty for a reasonable period (9.00 - 4.00?) each day and were very helpful.

It was inexpensive and good value - had the location been better I would have been happy and willing to return.
