We made a booking for this hotel and obtained a very fair price on the room. The room was small but adequate. The shower is a make-shift unit akin to a small portable shower one would find in a trailer but it was adequate.
Our real disappointment came in two service issues. Last night, the front desk attendant recommended their "10% off" taxi from a company with which the hotel has a relationship. He assured us it would be a good deal cheeper than a regular, metered taxi. We believed him and took the taxi to the restaurant, and the driver charged us 350 czech kournas. On the way home, we took a AAA certified, metered taxi, and the fare was 177 kournas, about half. When we told the experience to the front desk attendant, he was defensive and told us the metered taxi on the way home was probably dishonest (of course, this makes no sense, as it was a cheaper rate). Tonight, we asked the same front desk attendant to phone a restaurant for a reservation. He replied that he could not do it, as he was new and "I'm not officially working here." We then asked if we could speak to the restaurant by him calling them for us and he refused.
In all, a bare essentials hotel with very poor customer service.
We rated "sleep quality" as poor as they gave us Room #1 which is right next to the entrance where students and others congregate on the stairs outside the door, making a lot of noise at night.
