Stayed with my wife at Dante Alighieri one week ago. It's in a good location, 100 metres from the next tram station, 500 metres from the subway. There are nice restaurants nearby, but in some you need to speak Czech.
The hotel is still under re-construction. There is ongoing work both outside and inside the hotel. Some rooms are not finished yet (we were allocated to one of them). We had no curtain at the window, but an additional very old bed. This made the room even more tight that it already was. On both sides of the bed, there were about 25cm from the wall.
When we arrived, the hotel was over-booked. For the first night, we were taken to a private room, by far not matching the standard of a hotel. Nevertheless, they charged us the full price for that night. It took a long discussion to persuade the guy at the reception to move our luggage from the private room to the hotel.
