My boyfriend and I have been travelling all over Europe and this was our 9th B&B in the last month. This place had the best breakfast we have had at any B&B in any country. My bf is still talking about it 2 weeks later.

In addition to the fantastic breakfast the hotel is clean, rooms are large and the shower is great. The hosts are absolutely fantastic going above and beyond to make sure we had everything on our stay. The owner even gave us a ride to the train station and walked us to the platform to make sure we got to the correct train. Although we are seasoned travellers this kind of attention left us with the greatest feeling.

The B&B is a 5 minute walk to the old town just below the castle. If you really want to stay in the old town, trust us, stay here instead and you won't regret your decision.

Thank you for a fantastic stay, we loved Prague and when we come back we would not even think about staying anywhere else!

The Dum u velke boty is a really nice place to stay. Everybody is extremely helpfull and willing to make your stay as good as it can get (thank you all for the great New Year's eve...) The place is at a very quite and safe area just in front of the German Embassy. Nontheless, if you walk about 5 minutes down the road, you'll get all the noise and movement you want, with several Pubs, restaurants and Charles Bridge just around the corner. The castle by the way, is just 15 minutes if you walk up the road... The B&B has very nice feel to it, with old furniture all around (old but clean and in very good shape). Breakfast is really good, wide selection of cereals, bread, some pastry and with eggs if you want them too. In general a great place to stay, with excelent hosts that made our stay in Prague memorable and somewhere that I would recomend to stay to anyone.

My boyfriend, a friend and I stayed at the Big Boot Hotel for 3 nights in December. We were greeted by Tomas' smiling face at the airport and made to feel at home when we arrived at the Big Boot. Simone and Jakub spent alot of time giving us advice on restuarants, directions, booked our bus tickets to Cesky Krumlov. Tomas was a guide making sure we experienced the best of Prague! Breakfast was delicious - bacon, scrambled eggs, jams, yoghurt, cheese, ham, fresh fruits and bread. Jan was very warm and welcoming - ensuring we were comfortable. Our rooms were very clean, warm and cosy. It is only a 5 min walk from Charles Bridge and very near the castle. We would definitely stay at the Big Boot again if we visit Prague. The House at the Big Boot is located in a neighborhood surrounded by embassies and very close to the Pragu castle. Jan, the host, will greet you in the morning, serve you breakfast and talk to you or give you recommendations.
The rooms are excellent and comfortable, the hotel is overall neat and clean, though some things are worn down.
