WARNING! Stay away from this hotel, I went there with reservatioins on a Friday evening at 11:00 pm with my girlfriend for a romantic evening.
We had booked the room with the sauna/jucuzzi. Láďa, the front desk clerk was very nice. I paid him 3500,-CZK cash for the room rental for
the entire evening. I asked for a receipt and he said it wasn't necesary. At 1:00 am, two hours after we had arrived, security knocked on the door
and told us we had to leave. I asked why and he said we had only paid 1500,-CZK for two hours! I explained that we paid 3500,-CZK for the whole
evening and we were going to stay. He returned 5 minutes later with a printed receipt for 1500,-CZK! I asked him for a copy of that receipt and he refused.
Five minutes later, he returned again, and without any warning, let himsef into our room using the extra key from the front desk! A physical altercation between
myself and the security guard almost ensued. Meanwhile, my girlfriend was extremely upset during this ordeal. We were forcibly being thrown out. Not much
of a romantic evening...
On Monday, I met with the owner of the hotel, Vladimír. He listened with interest; he refused to apologize or return the 2000,-CZK
that his employee, Láďa, had stolen. It seems business as usual... You've been warned.
