Travelled to Prague in March '06 for my wife's birthday. Chose the hotel because it offered good value for money. Hotel is located in Ceskomoravska towards the eastern end of the yellow underground line. Reception staff are very helpful and speak good English. Breakfast was typical European food, with bread, meats, eggs etc. We found the restaurant to be good value and varied for evening meals. Prague offers excellent value for food and drink and we came home with money to spare. A good cultural centre with some interesting attractions like the sex museum. Never got to use the swimming pool as we were always out and about. Travel around Prague was cheap, a 72 hour tourist travel card only cost £5 each and allowed us to use the buses, trams and underground, similar to a travel card in London. The airport is some way out of the city centre and you will first need to catch a bus to the underground station. Useful tourist/travel information centre in the airport. You must try Absinthe!
