Lunik is a midrange hotel with good location (15 mins walk from the old town market square), nice, recently renovated rooms, GREAT breakfast (at this level of hotel) and very reasonable prices. We stayed there during a chilly weekend in November - the heating worked well and the temperature in the room was all right. The place was quiet, clean and the service (front desk lady) was very nice and helpful - we could get all the needed information and help in arranging transportation right away. There is a computer with free Internet access in the hotel lobby and also free cable Internet access in the rooms.

The Lunik was a good value for the money. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Our bath was a bit tight, but not unusual for European hotels of this class. Breakfast food was tasty with a lot of variety. Staff is excellent. They are extremely helpful and courteous. Parking (fee) is available in an indoor garage across the street. The hotel is a longish walk from the center, but only a few minutes from a major tram/metro stop. Only negative is that wi-fi is not available in the rooms, but you can access it for free from the lobby.

Of our 2 weeks and 6 hotels in Europe, Hotel Lunik was the best. Though you may be able to find a hotel with a better location I'm sure you will not find one with a friendlier staff. No matter what the question, they were more than willing to help us out. Also, I had a pretty bad cold during our stay here and our train to Berlin wasn't until 4pm. Checkout is typically at 12pm but they allowed us to keep the room until 2pm so I could stay in and rest while the rest of my party explored the city. I was very grateful for the extra time to rest before heading to Berlin.

The room were also very nice. Clean, comfortable and a full bathroom in each room.
