“Fantastic Hotel - Excellent Spot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, going that extra mile to assist in my surprise birthday weekend for my husband by upgrading our room and giving us a complimentary bottle of champagne! Our room was a very generous size and opulently appointed. The small gym and spa facilities were perfect and the sauna was very welcome after walking in -10 degrees. The hotel it self is extremely close to the old town square, shops and restaurants, all within a 5-10min walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the beds were a dream - we slept really well. It was probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Well worth the money. We would highly recommend this hotel and location.

“Wonderful town with a "close to perfect" hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

We can really recommend that hotel.
Absolute friendly and helpful staff. Perfect rooms. Excellent food and drinks.
Perfect location.
You will really enjoy your stay.

But: Don't go to the bar. It a dark corner. Quite unlikely that you will enjoy your stay there!

Room Tip: Ask for a quite room. Otherwise you hear each and every tram (public transport).

“Luxury and superb service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We spent recently three nights at this hotel. Receptionists are very friendly, very helpful and efficient. The room was exquisitely furnished (if you like faux art déco), with all creature comforts, and very quiet. The restaurant decoration is totally pre-WWI (1913, I believe), deliciously removed from modern non-descript chain hotels, public areas and even the elevators are modeled in the same period style. The location is extremely convienent, within walking distance from St. Venceslas Square, the National Museum, two railway stations (Hlavní and Masarykovo), the Old Town, St. Charles Bridge, Josefov (Jewish quarter), and Malá Strana. If it hadn't been so cold, we would have walked to the National Theater. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet is well-suited for carnivores, but there is a selection of Muesli, fresh fruit, cheeses, pastry and pancakes (lívance) with, yes, maple syrup! This hotel is a definite recommendation and go-back-to place.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the upper floors facing the court yard if you seek peace and quiet.

“Fabulous Accommodation in Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

I stayed at this Historical hotel in January and found it to be pretty close to perfect. Very opulent and drenched in history and culture. The lobby is gorgeous, and the cafe restaurant Imperial served top quality food, the service was excellent and the decor was second to none, it felt like dining in a museum/art gallery! The location was very good, quite easily accessible to most places on food. The spa area is relatively small but quite nice which provided a cooling and relaxing ambience. I stayed in a Deluxe room which was very clean with excellent amenities! The room decor & design was opulent and cosy; one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in! This hotel has everything you would want or need, great service from the staff, excellent room standards, lovely food and amazing decor. Much recommended by someone who searches for venues for a living and Romance in this Magic City of Prague!

“The most comfortable beds in Europe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We spent three nights at this hotel in April 2011, in twin accommodation. Fabulous location within walking distance of the Old, Lesser and New towns of Prague. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean rooms. Restaurant was excellent, great food, friendly service. great breakfast buffet. This was our second stop in a ten week holiday in Europe, staying in some very beautiful Sofitel and Westin Europa hotels, which are renowned for good beds, and we voted it as our most comfortable beds when we came home. Hard to beat that recommendation, and often not the highlight in twin bedding.
