This hotel is good value for money, basically. The surrounding area Vinohradsky is quiet and very nice. If you walk, it takes 10-15 minutes into the center of Prague from the hotel, but there is also both a metro station and tram stop very close in the Namesti square.
The room we had was spotlessly clean, more spacious than other double rooms you normally encounter abroad and, considering it being on the top floor with only one skylight window, not as dark as one could have suspected. So the room itself is recommended...IF YOU'RE NOT HANDICAPPED OR ELDERLY! Because the hotel has no lift of any kind, you have to use stairs to every floor. But that was okay with us.
The staff was okay we guess, more or less.
The breakfast served was basic, but not bad all in all considering that it's included in the price of the room. However, the room it was served in had an ambience of something from the old soviet era, brightly lit with merciless fluorescent lighting and some very basic furniture.
But all in all, we recommend this hotel. Mostly because it's clean and that the surrounding area is very pleasant. We do have slight reservations, but at the price it's very good value for money.
