Absolutely great experience!!! We have arrived late at night, parking was available both on the street (nice and not busy) and in hotel garage. We were checked in really quick, were given instructions and maps of Prague, had a fantastic dinner in hotel restaurant, and had a great rest as the hotel is located in a quiet area. Staff were very very friendly, helpfull, really something!!!! :)))))

Staying at the pension Avion is a Czech experience. The small but quaint and wonderfully comfortable atmosphere is a truly pleasurable experience. They have a fantastic bar which features local beer and liquor, especially the native Czech brands. Their little restaurant highlights the finest of Czech favorites including deer with a great cranberry sauce. It is not in the middle of town and you are surrounded with local charm.
Wonderful staff that truly makes the experience. Exceptional for a small business meeting. Price is moderate, great for the wondering traveler.

The WiFi at this hotel was very slow and quite often was not available, even downstairs in the reception.
Clean modern rooms with 2 english TV stations.
Breakfast reasonable and the restaurant next door has a nice terrace and reasonably priced rooms.
No shops nearby and water costs 70Kr at reception (a decent ripoff).
Pay in Euro as the conversion rate used is very bad.
About 30-45 minutes from town centre.

This hotel is the best kept secret in a quiet Prague neighborhood.

Location: Kind of away from the city center, not far from the airport. The neighborhood around is fairly quiet.

Price: I paid 38 euro for double room with breakfast.

Parking: Free on the street in front of the hotel, or about 7 euro in a secured closed garage, which I did.

Room: spotless clean, decent in size, no AC, but we opened the window and even on a very warm July night it was was really comfortable. Beds were rather firm, two twin size joint together. Small flat screen TV with couple of English-language channels (CNN and BBC).

Breakfast: was very good, with good selection of meats and cheeses, fried eggs, and cerial. Restaurant was very clean and cozy.

Internet: wireless throughout the hotel, with decent signal. I was able to use Skype without problems.

Lobby: clean, frendly English-speaking staff, a lot of marble, nice decor.

So, if I had to describe the place in one word, I would say CLEAN.
