Good points:
The staff were polite & helpful. Breakfast was a decent spread. Room on the 4th floor was large & well presented. Bed was comfortable, a good night's sleep. Paid £86 for two nights through hotels.com. The hotel is about a 15 min walk into the old town, 5 mins from the main shopping street. Well positioned for the main train station as well, about a 10 min walk.
Bad points:
On our 1st night we were placed at the Hotel Sonata across the road as they'd overbooked their rooms. Having had confirmation earlier in the week from hotels.com this was very disappointing (on our 2nd night, back at 7 Days we were given a fruit basket, possibly by way of apology). Had to trek down to reception for a bottle opener, bit self defeating to have a mini bar but no way of accessing the goods!!
