I stayed at this hotel at the recommendation of a friend for three nights. The facilities were ok, especially the sports facilities. However, on my last day there I had a number of things stolen directly from my room - a laptop, camera, ipod, laptop bag with documents, keys, sim card, chargers, etc. The hotel offered no help even though it was clear that one of their employees was involved. There was no sign of a break in and the doors lock automatically when you leave. The hotel is outside of the city, away from busy sidewalks and pedestrians. This was clearly an inside job.
There was little activity in the hotel. We were posted in a random room away from other guests. Our room had been cleaned the day before, so inventory had been taken. The day everything was stolen, the front desk had called a taxi for us to get into the city, so they knew we were gone. It became clear after the fact, when this all came to light and they offered no help. They said these things happen. The manager never talked to us. No one offered any help. The police were of no use and I had to keep moving in order to catch a flight. They clearly had a system set up and in the end with everything lost, it costs me nearly $3,000. That's $1,000 a night.
A terrible experience. A terrible hotel. Unfortunately, these kinds of people and businesses do still exist in the world.
