“A lovely stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Elegant hotel situated in a calm area of Praha, yet close enough to the city center. Corresponds totally to what they advertise. We particularly enjoyed the vast and lovely decorated lobby/saloon area where you can hang out after a hard sightseeing day. Coffee and pastries might be a bit overpriced, but they are worth it! In their small yet well equipped library, you can lend cultural books, CDs and DVDs. They even have a small cinema room that you can book free of charge to enjoy a film or two. I would also recommend you to visit the kind librarian if you need any tips on attraction or tix for events; she’ll do the best for you with a smile.

“Our family LOVED the Aria Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

All of the previous comments about the staff of the Aria Hotel are true. They are friendly, accessible and gracious. Every request was met with an "absolutely!" The check-in process was smooth and the introductory hotel tour made you feel at home instantly. We were traveling with our 4 year old daughter and they immediately welcomed her and tailored all information to include activities and on-site amenities (they have a viewing room where you can watch movies and order popcorn!) that would include her. She was beyond excited to discover the couch in our suite had been made up just for her. She even got her own child-sized slippers, bathrobe and children's towel. Such simple details but they made her feel like such a big girl. She loved the fruit plate that was waiting for us as well.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay. Room service was excellent (and extremely fast), Housekeeping was efficient (the turn down service with chocolates also included weather info for the following day), Breakfast was great (my husband tried their a la carte upgrade menu one morning and it was delicious), and Afternoon Tea was perfect. The Concierge Service is a must-visit - we worked with Ivana and she had great suggestions for hits and misses. We were even able to purchase our Image Theatre tickets directly from her. They also had a large library of music and DVDs that kept our daughter entertained during our down-time.

Outside of the hotel a few of the kid-friend activities we tried were:
Funicular to Petřín Park to see the miniature Eiffel Tour and Mirror Labyrinth (an incredibly short walk from the Aria)
Image Theatre (Black Light Dance performance - our daughter LOVED this whimsical experience)
Restaurace Výtopna in Wenceslas Square (themed restaurant where beverages are delivered to your table via toy train)

We look forward to visiting Prague & the Aria Hotel again when the weather is warmer and the temps are above 14 °F.

“Excellent Introduction to Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Prague and our stay at Aria. The location was convenient and in a very nice, but not hectic part of town, walkable to most sites. The concierge was very helpful with recommending restaurants and obtaining reservations for us. The staff was superb. The breakfasts were a great way to start the day. We wished we could have stayed longer, especially in our room. It would have been a good hotel for business travel (ours was a vacation), but all the amenities and communication were there for a productive business trip. You can't go wrong with Aria!

“B&B”

We got an advise through TripAdvisor based on traveler's ratings. It is very nice that when you have to make a choice about the place , hotel etc one can visit the site and get the opinion. Well, coming to point the hotel is just fantastic. The staff is friendly and warm , rooms are quite newly furnished and modern as well as very well equipped, including computer with internet connection , dvd player, nice and large lcd tv and harman/kardon hi fi system which was a very pleasant surprise taking into account that the concierge office has a large collection of dvd and cd. We fell like home !! Thank you the site for advise and the owner of the hotel for a nice job !! :) We will certainly advise the hotel to the friends and will be looking forward to come back again.

Room Tip: the higher floor the better

“Exceptional in every way!”

All the reviews for this hotel are true.
It's location is just over the Charles Bridge, on the same street as the American Embassy. One block from the tram stop so location is convenient and quiet.
From our check in through our entire stay, the staff was outstanding. They really make you feel at home and valued as a guest.
One of the nicest things about this hotel, is that you have the sense you are in someone's home, surrounded by the amazing art and furniture the owner has collected.
The breakfast buffet is varied and more then ample for your needs, we did over indulge but managed to walk it off every day.
We also enjoyed two lovely dinners at the excellent resturant, Coda, wonderful food!
The rooms are smallish, but wonderfully comfortable and quiet. The amenities are very well thought out.
The one issue is that this is not a non smoking facility, but as this is Prague, that's a fact of life here for now.
I would love to stay here again. It was a wonderful experience.
