All of the previous comments about the staff of the Aria Hotel are true. They are friendly, accessible and gracious. Every request was met with an "absolutely!" The check-in process was smooth and the introductory hotel tour made you feel at home instantly. We were traveling with our 4 year old daughter and they immediately welcomed her and tailored all information to include activities and on-site amenities (they have a viewing room where you can watch movies and order popcorn!) that would include her. She was beyond excited to discover the couch in our suite had been made up just for her. She even got her own child-sized slippers, bathrobe and children's towel. Such simple details but they made her feel like such a big girl. She loved the fruit plate that was waiting for us as well.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay. Room service was excellent (and extremely fast), Housekeeping was efficient (the turn down service with chocolates also included weather info for the following day), Breakfast was great (my husband tried their a la carte upgrade menu one morning and it was delicious), and Afternoon Tea was perfect. The Concierge Service is a must-visit - we worked with Ivana and she had great suggestions for hits and misses. We were even able to purchase our Image Theatre tickets directly from her. They also had a large library of music and DVDs that kept our daughter entertained during our down-time.
Outside of the hotel a few of the kid-friend activities we tried were:
Funicular to Petřín Park to see the miniature Eiffel Tour and Mirror Labyrinth (an incredibly short walk from the Aria)
Image Theatre (Black Light Dance performance - our daughter LOVED this whimsical experience)
Restaurace Výtopna in Wenceslas Square (themed restaurant where beverages are delivered to your table via toy train)
We look forward to visiting Prague & the Aria Hotel again when the weather is warmer and the temps are above 14 °F.
