Loved this hotel it was absolutely gorgeous!!! Big staircase and a beautiful piano room with amazing decor and service!! Loved it here! The hotel is far from the centre of things but close to tram/ bus station so easy to get around! It was minus 4 when I was there so took a cab which was a lithos expensive! It worth it to avoid the chill ;)......I would recommend a stay here it is gorgeous!!

Our room was very spacious and includes everything you should need to enjoy your stay.
There is an icemachine (probably on all floors) and free Wi-fi...but only in the foyer. They also offer a computer near reception for public use for free.

The location is in Praha 6, pretty far from the city center, but luckily sits across the Podbaba tram stop, so access to the city is easy. The building is interesting, the facade represents an old communist era grandeur, the lobby is classic and almost truly grand. The room is a bit small but adequate, mine had the view to the front street. They coded the room number with A, B, C referring to the segment of the floor lay out, what annoys me actually so many doors separating those segments, and I don't see the function of them. Breakfast was good with variety of selections.The reception staff are very helpful indeed although it was 2 days before new years eve when we checked in, and they were pretty busy with lots of incoming guests. They might be a bit cold but when you ask something, they are very helpful and informative, especially regarding the public transportation, good restaurants, tourism spots etc. I rented their taxis for taking our family for drop off and pick up near the Charles Square on the New Years Eve, easy, reliable and worthed. Aside from the far distance to the city center, I love this hotel.

As always, I will start with the very helpful staff, which was already patient and answer all my "nevigation" questions.
Rooms are nice, probably renovated. Breakfast was fair.
The hotel is located 20 minutes from the old city, eighter with 2 tram, or tram and Metro.
I agree that the gym was nice.
