I stayed 7 days in Brezina and this is not 3*hotel, unless other rooms are better than I got. But the price was very attractive so I would recommend for those who are looking for budget accommodation near to the old center. Our room didnt look like one of the rooms on the website, it was just an old apartment with a small bathroom, all furniture very outdated. WiFi worked but not always, we had to call the reception and ask to reset the router almost each evening. The sheets were not changed for a week and the towels were changed every other day. As I mentioned - the location is great - 10,15 min walk from the old centre. And breakfast is really good - the best I have ever had in the hotel. Huge variety of everything: muesli, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, bread, honey, jam, cheese, ham... and much more. I would come back if I was looking for cheap place to stay in Prague again, but next time i would pay more to get something less basic.

This place is cheap for a reason: There is absolutely nothing special about it.

We had a room on the top (5th) floor. It was small but tidy. I don't have any of the complaints of the others about cleanliness. The room was fine. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and was spotless.

The wi-fi was slow and a little unreliable but it was functional most of the time. The staff was even there when we had to checkin the first night at 1 am. Sure, there was no one overly friendly, but we wanted a reliable place to sleep and we got it.

The main square is only a five minute walk away and the neighborhood is basic but seemed quiet and safe.

My only gripe was that I asked for a double with one bed and we got a double room with two twin beds at awkward angles.

I stayed in Prague last year at Pension Brezina and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were on a budget so this hotel offered a great price, for a central location. We found it to be clean and the rooms were very big for the price we paid. The bed was comfortable, and literally downstairs is a restaurant (isnt noisy) that serves very nice food at a very reasonable price - a big glass of Czech beer is less than a pound (I am not a big beer drinker but Czech beer is lovely). You can also have breakfast there for a few pounds. It isnt somewhere I would recommend for a honeymoon or luxury break - but for the budget traveller I dont think you will get better!

I've got an excellent deal on this hotel, 130 euros for 4 nights which was amazing. It is only 2 stops away from the main train station (don't take a taxi, they will ask for astronomical prices, when we first arrived at the train station I went to the taxi line and they asked me for 45 Euros for a 2km trip!, so of course we took the metro instead but we had to carry the luggage up few stairs).

The guy at the reception was ok, didn't say much and just gave use our key cards, our room was in an adjacent building, very secure, you have to use your key card to enter the building, then another door, then the room. The area was safe overall.

At first the room looked very good, quite spacious with an air conditioner, tv and a clean bathroom, but I noticed there were some stains on the bed, and our sheets were not changed during our 4 night stay! towels were changed everyday and they were clean though. The bed and pillows weren't comfortable as well. The bathroom was clean, but the room floor wasn't very clean, we just couldn't walk barefoot inside the room. The air conditioning was very useful and it worked very well. We didn't take breakfast so I cannot comment on that. Other than that everything went just fine. Would I stay there again? I am not sure, maybe not. I would only recommend this hotel to young people looking for a cheap place to sleep at night, that's it.

However, there's one thing which I must add, the wireless internet was very fast and it was free!
