Nice hotel, with friendly staff and excelent price. About 15 minutes walking to the Old Town Square, near subway and bus stop. Large room.

Stayed at this hotel for a 3 night city trip to Praha. Mainly chose this hotel for its location in the city centre, which is fantastic. We didn't even have to use the subway, and getting to and from the airport as well as the main train station (hlavní nádraží) was easy.

Breakfast was included in the hotel rates, and was very nice, offering a good choice of both hot and cold foods. Also, service at the hotel reception was polite and helpful.

The rooms themselves however were not that great. We received a room at the backside of the hotel and it was quite small (too be expected for a hotel in this location/price range), dark and not very clean. There were several stains on the carpet ,and the whole room smelled like cigarette smoke for the entire duration of our trip.

The bathroom actually was quite modern, although its cleanliness was not up to normal standards. Furthermore, the rooms did not seem to be equipped with air conditioning, and were badly soundproofed. You could hear a lot of noises from the other rooms (tv, talking, doors slamming), as well as the trams passing by day and night (One of Praha's night tramlines passes by the hotel), even though our room was at the back of the hotel.

All in all, this hotel's location is a big plus, it's prices reasonable for the location (but certainly not for the room quality), it's breakfast up to standards, but it's rooms are poor. I would advise you to take these points into consideration when debating whether or not to choose Hotel Atlantic for your stay in Praha

This was in a great location for us. As we were quite keen to just wander around and explore. We were never more than 10mins away from any action, Old Town, Wenceslas Sqaure, Powder Tower (which was pretty much at the end of the street). For all the shoppers, is basically at the back of the Palladium - the main shopping center. It is also on a main-ish street where you can find many handy shops (Lidl, Starbucks, Newsagents, Pharmacy etc..), numerous bars/resturants also metro and buses. So all in all, if it is not critical to wake up and be looking down on Old Town Square then this is more than ideal.

The hotel itself was nice enough had a very quite bar with a pool table you can rent, and it put on a great selection for breakfast (which we missed everyday until the last morning - big regret!). The room we had was huge, which was a plesent surprise.

The staff were nice, welcoming and plesent. They organised taxis and tours for us, you never felt like you were 'putting them out' if you had a question etc.

Overall, Great location, Great prices and a great breakfast if you manage to make it!

The hotel is excellent. Very close to the bus and train stations as well as central to the Old Town and attractions. Being a 2 minute walk to the Palladium Shopping Centre, with its restaurants and bars on the 2nd floor being very convenient. Rooms are spacious, even if carpet is a bit tired. Staff were helpful and gave good exchange rate to Czech Crowns.
