Earlier reviews have pointed out that his hotel is naughtily mis-named - it's not even close to Wenceslas Square (10 minute walk at least) - and it would be like calling a hotel the Trafalgar Square Hotel when it was actually the far side of Soho! Chains such as Novotel are fairly consistent, which is hard when there are so many tens of thousands across the world, yet the main thing which we liked about our experience of Novotels has been the breakfast. Recently we were in Ghent (November) with the same companions as in Prague (January), and we all agreed that we were disappointed by the food available for breakfast in Prague, even allowing for local "a la carte" items. Hardboiled eggs (soft centred in Ghent) were very thoroughly boiled and indigestible here; I suspect the only (scrambled) egg alternative was made from a packet, and this is a 4 star hotel. Coffee was only to be had from a Douwe Egbert powder-filled machine, while next door in the bar there was a proper expresso system (admittedly I managed to persuade staff, who are very friendly, to give me some of the bar coffee for breakfast, but I had to schlepp over there each time to do so; that's not "4 star" in my book). Cheese, fruit, salad, cold meat selection was good and so was the bread - work needed on coffee and eggs though, and the game chips and sausages were hard to eat, which is ironic as the streets of Prague are full of wonderfully enticing sausage stalls.
We would still recommend this hotel and it's fair value for money - witness the "free" wi-fi, gym, sauna and pool - though we never found out how to obtain a changing robe (without bringing our own).
