I stayed ay the Kinsky Gardens for 3 nights in January and it as a very good standard though a small gym would have been nice. I was very pleased with my room.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast varied and plentiful.
It is in a good location, quiet, opposite a park and round the corner from a tram stop which is 2 stops from the Andel metro station and maybe 10 minutes from the city centre. Public transport is excellent and so traffic still light in Prague. It is such a beautiful city, and prices are still below what you would pay in most European cities, especially for food and drink.

Our hotel room was clean and a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaints were the very average breakfast selection & toaster that didn't work, and also that the bed was two pushed together rather than a double which was a bit annoying as they were slightly different heights. Not a bad hotel at all, but feel they let the 4* rating down with these things.

A nice rather small hotel close to downtown (10 minutes walk to the National Theatre), acessible easily by public transportation as well as car (hotel has its own parking 3 minutes walk from the hotel - INCLUDED in the room rates). Very good breakfast buffet also included. Small rooms, but clean and relatively modern. The only downside was the service. Check-in was ok, but the servesr at breakfast were very unfriendly, talking bad about the guests, hoping no one understands.
But if you choose this place, you will be close to downtown (across the river) with much lower rates then on the other side. Shopping also very close (shopping center Novy Smichov), walking distance from the hotel. Wifi available, but I had issues to connect.

Good hotel - very good value for money. Location out of city centre, so quiet at night, but 5 minutes walk from the tram stop which takes you all over. Trams very frequent - we never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Walkable to the Charles Bridge and Old Town if you're feeling more energetic. Breakfast good and room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a room facing the park which was lovely.
Woudl definitely go back.
