“A very big place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

I stayed in this hotel during a company conference, and although we were with about 500 people I guess we never really stretched the capacity of this place. It is huge. Plenary sessions and break-out rooms were all well equipped and spacious enough, and the breakfast and lunch buffet were excellent.

But I wouldn't stay here for any other reason than this conference. It is impossible to feel at home in such a big place, and the atrium layout makes for very noisy rooms on the inside (there is a bar at ground level opening up in the atrium). The outside doesn't fare much better, as the hotel is located next to a very busy road and the frequent sirens of police or ambulance woke me up a lot of times. The city center is a brisk 20 min walk away, or you can use the metro which stops close by.

Rooms were fine. I like places with an actual minibar instead of a vending machine somewhere, and it is great to see the toilet separated from the bathroom.

In summary, if you want to have a big conference in a great city, this hotel should definitely be in your hotlist. If you are a tourist I would suggest to find something a bit more cozy and closer to the center.

“A luxurious place to stay in a beautiful city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

The hotel is modern and is of an unusual design externally and internally, with many rooms overlooking a giant glass atrium the height of the hotel and a very stylish Sky Bar. The hotel feels very luxurious and has an impressive gym. Breakfasts are very lavish, including local pastries, and a good selection of hot and cold foods and the staff are very polite and friendly. I strongly recommend staying in the hotel for New Year's Eve, leaving when the guests are arriving in their glamerous clothes, walking for a few minutes along the river bank and taking a pre-booked jazz boat to see in the New Year, and watch the fireworks from the river boat _ the whole city is lit up by fireworks, its the most impressive and longest firework display I've ever seen. Unfortunately, apart from breakfast we ate in local bars which were very reasonably priced. Prague is a beautiful and historic city.

“Best hotel in Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

I have stayed at Hilton Prague for several times during the last year and I have to say it was an outstanding experience for me and my co-workers. All of the reception staff was just so nice and welcoming they made me feel very special. Eating in the hotel was a very pleasant experience too, however maybe little expensive. Next time I will be visiting Prague I will absolutely stay there and I highly recommend you do the same thing!

“Rooms a bit tired”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

The public areas of the Hilton are excellent as are the breakfasts. The restaurants are ver expensive - you're better off making your way to the Cafe Imperial for art nouveau experience.
However the rooms at the Hilton are looking pretty tired and 70s bland in the decor department. Hotel is conveniently located for the old town - it takes about 15-20 minutes walking time.

“Excellent hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

We arrived about 3 hours before check in time & were expecting to have to wait, but were given our room straight away. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the old town square. In fact we walked to all the major tourist sites & had no need for public transport or taxis.

We had a twin queen room, which was a really good size room with very comfortable beds.
The toiletries were replenished daily even if they weren't empty. The toilet being separate to the bathroom was perfect.
Excellent hygiene standards, with towels changed daily. Modern tv, powerful hairdryer.

The Cloud 9 sky bar was amazing. The most delicious cocktails made by fantastic bar staff. All the staff were very attentive & helpful.

I would definately recommend this hotel.
